Welcome to ‘Hughes Maui Condo’ – ground floor unit #113 of building 10 at the Kamaole Sands Resort. This is a privately owned, beautifully renovated 1 bedroom condo with 2 full baths and very nice furnishings throughout.

Our condo is located on the walk-out first floor level of the Kamaole Sands Resort just 100 yards from Kamaole #3 Beach, one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the world! There you will find great snorkeling, diving, swimming, boarding and sunbathing. Building 10 is the closest to the beautiful Kamaole 3 beach!

We limit our one bedroom condo to a maximum of 2 adults, but it will also accommodate 1-2 small children. The condo is a spacious 818 sq. feet (76 sq. meters) not including the extra large Lanai and has beautiful tile floors throughout.

This complex has the rare combination of a great pool and great tennis courts. World class golf awaits you within minutes at the Wailea and Makena golf courses or via a short drive to many other courses including Kapalua Plantation and Kaanapali. World-class surfing is also nearby. This unit is a short walk to several restaurants, bars and small shops. It is located near exquisite island dining, and the 'Shops of Wailea’. The Kihei boat dock and daily trips to Molokini are just a short walk from the unit. 'Hughes Maui Condo' is an all-around great choice!

This unit was formerly known as ‘Boone 5 Condo’ and logged 44 5-star reviews since 2009 (see all reviews under both ownerships on our Reviews tab). Our future guests can expect the same excellent furnishings and accommodations and we have been making several upgrades of our own. Please see our contact information to get to know who we are.

The renovation includes all new stainless steel kitchen appliances, new kitchen cabinets, new countertops, new lighting system throughout, new vanities in each bathroom, new fixtures, tile, etc. You'll love our new bedroom suite, California King bed with a Serta Premium mattress, the distinctive Plantation shutters and new 32” flat screen HDTV. We have also installed a new large capacity Whirlpool Duet washer/dryer unit added in 2014. Old wicker furniture has been replaced with new furniture which surround a 46' Sharp Aquos Flat screen HDTV. Now that the fiber optic upgrade is complete, enjoy free high speed wireless internet in the condo and on our extra-large lanai that now has all new furniture in October 2013. Use your Netflix and iTunes/Pandora accounts and enjoy.

Location & View: Ocean View from our Beautiful Extra Large Lanai. 100 yard 3 minute walk to one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the World (Kamaole 3) from condo! Eat each meal outside, and enjoy a wonderful view of the fountain, Koi pond and gardens with an Ocean View in the background. Stunningly beautiful!

Master Bathroom renovated June 2013 to include new custom bamboo vanity, granite countertop, walk-in shower and new lighting. Hallway Bathroom renovated to include new vanity, countertop, tile and lighting.

Kitchen: Fully remodeled to include all new appliances, separate breakfast bar (island) with 2 bar stools and new cabinets. Living Room: New full size dining table and chairs. Brand new queen sleeper sofa and swivel chair in December 2013.

Outdoor Features: Extra Large Lanai with brand new table, 4 padded swivel-chairs, and lounger all added in October 2013. Outdoor cabinet stocked with coolers, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, ... for endless fun on the beach.

Aloha! We are Lindy and Bob Hughes and the proud new owners of 'Hughes Maui Condo'. We were fortunate to have been able to purchase this beautiful condo from the Boone family in 2013. When we discovered this unit, we immediately fell in love with it, and we know you will too. Lindy and her family have very deep roots in Hawaii. Maui is especially deep in her heart since this is where her parents met in high school before moving to Honolulu where Lindy was born. Maui was also where we spent out honeymoon and we have a deep passion and love for this island. Today we have two daughters and three sons and live in Portland, Oregon where Lindy works for a local non-profit as well as local winery, and Bob works for an engineering firm. Our guests will benefit from our 12+ years of experience as VRBO/HomeAway customers. We want to give each of our guests a truly wonderful experience that will make them feel that our condo is an extension of their own home and hope that they keep coming back. Mahalo!
